Page Deletion
Hi, You recently deleted a page I created, claiming its content was junk. How should I better phrase or verify my edits in future, so that such misunderstandings are avoided? Thanks, Ingest 21:15, 18 August 2008 (CDT)
- We have been receiving many fake therapy pages from some vandals. We delete the page only if we cannot find any reference to a particular therapy page created here. If you can share some other/sources references about it, we will restore the page.DoctorB 21:51, 20 August 2008 (CDT)
- I note that you deleted the stub I created on scientific method. While I may have overstated the case against the scientific method, I do not think that deletion was appropriate for the reasons I have outlined on Talk:Scientific method. Thank you. --Tolerance 04:57, 21 August 2008 (CDT)
Let me know where you prefer my energy spent
Feel free to list places you feel would benefit most from my time on my talk page. I made a bunch of "cleanup" edits to the style guide (which was copied raw from wikipedia), but burned out before being even 1/3 done. At first, when I was fresh, I was even "substituting" examples more specific to CAMwiki... anyway, someone pointed out that the whole article was overkill anyway. If you have places you think my efforts would be more useful (heck, I could copy over and adapt "help" files from another wiki I'm on, they're pretty clear and easy to use), just let me know. Categories on the main page
Hi,
Unfortunately, I think somebody has tried to link to categories on the main page, but the way it's been done means that the main page is now in those categories. For instance, Category:Osteopathy contains a "main page" entry - but that's not a type of osteopathy!
This looks ugly and amateurish.
On mediawiki there is a simple way to link to categories without joining them, but unfortunately I can't edit the main page to fix it. I can give you details of how to fix it, if you want...? It's not technically difficult. Glavery 14:06, 20 November 2011 (CST)
