It would be nice if the outcome of the assessment by evidence based medicine was stated. If it is negative then the entry would be misleading, if it is positive that would make the article much more credible, especially if a proper reference was included.

Negative, anti-CAM data is not welcome on the site, and so should be avoided. We set this wiki up in order to avoid the constant undermining of useful therapies by biased skeptics. EBM is just one ideological belief system by which results can be evaluated, not the be-all and end-all of medicine. Your suggestion that a "proper" reference is needed leads be to believe you regard existing evaluations by the CAM community to be somehow "improper" or insufficient. That's not the kind of attitude that we want to cultivate here. Martin 23:16, 12 August 2008 (CDT)

Martin: "you regard existing evaluations by the CAM community to be somehow "improper" or insufficient". Everything that is written here should be available somewhere. Otherwise anyone could make up something and write anything. If someone does reference something at least do it properly or dont mention it at all. At least be honest about what you write here. If you do want to mention evidence based medicine then do it properly. Either you reject EBM or you dont. Citing only the studies you like should not be an option. What do others think about that. Do you reject EBM or do you just think that for some CAM it hasn't been done or just hasn't been done properly. I cannot believe that all CAM works but I do think that some does and that it shouldnt all be discarded. A wiki like this could be a wonderful opportunity to sort things out. Otherwise this site is just a free advertisement cite for CAM. Dont you want to get a status where you are respected — Unsigned, by: DraganDabic / talk / contribs
