Eastern medicine

Eastern medicine is a broad term. It roughly refers to oriental, Indian, Tibetan, Japanese, and Chinese medicine.[1] However, sometimes this term is solely used to denote the medical practices originating from the ancient China, which is called as Traditional Chinese Medicine.[citation needed] When compared to the western medicine, eastern medicines have strong philosophical background.[citation needed]
